— John S. Burke Catholic High School held its second annual Christmas Boutique and Ugly Sweater Jingle Jog on Dec. 2, ushering in the Christmas spirit in the community and raising money for its ambitious track renovation.

The Christmas Boutique was organized by the Burke Catholic Parent Club and was held in the school gymnasium. More than 40 vendors set up stalls to sell goods, and visitors flocked to buy them. The BC Band and Chorus performed Christmas music and Santa arrived to take pictures with the local community children. A special “Kids” boutique offered items priced at under $5.

The popular Ugly Sweater Jingle Jog was held on the Burke Catholic cross-country course. It was also organized by the Burke Catholic Parents Club.

Approximately 350 people visited Burke Catholic throughout the day.
