— Chester Academy high school students will be performing in "Done to Death," a fun and farcical take on the mystery genre.

In the play, five has-been mystery writers are brought together by a TV network to write a new murder mystery TV series. When real murders are discovered, it's the beginning of a hilarious spoof on the authors themselves.

The authors in the play, which was written in 1970 by Fred Carmichael, imagine scenes that come to life. The actors also break the “fourth wall” to involve the audience in a fun and unforgettable adventure.

Stage direction is by Lenna Andrews.

Performances will be held the Chester Academy auditorium, 64 Hambletonian Avenue, according to the following schedule:

Friday, Dec. 15, at 7 p.m.

Saturday, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m.

Snow date: Sunday, Dec. 17, at 3 p.m,

Tickets (at the door) are for $10 for adults, $8 for students and senior citizens

"Done to Death" is presented in special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc. For more information call the Chester Academy office at 469-2231 ext. 3329.
