Boy Scouts hold wreath sale

| 18 Nov 2012 | 07:12

— Troop 63 of the Boy Scouts is holding its annual wreath sale on two weekends at various locations around town.

The wreaths are $12 and made by the Scouts with the help of Alders Wholesale Florist.

The Scouts will be selling wreaths at Kwik Stop, Not Just Bagels, and Dunkin' Donuts on Nov. 24 and 25 and December 1 and 2. We will also sell door to door on Nov. 29. Call Dustin Winship at 615-1542 to make other arrangements.

Troop 63 has completed many projects to help the community. We coordinate Scouting for Food, which supplies the food pantry to help struggling families, and organize a community dinner to ensure neighbors don't go hungry. Eagle Scouts' projects include painting museums, making a new ramp for the village hall, and renovating parts of cemeteries and schools.

For more information about becoming a Boy Scout, call Jeff Albanese at 294-0924.
