Land Trust to host outdoor workshop May 13 on how to improve wildlife habitation

SLATE HILL — The Orange County Land Trust will host a workshop at the Hunter Farm Preserve in Slate Hill on Saturday, May 13, to educate landowners on how to improve wildlife habitat and protect natural resources on their properties.
OCLT Director of Conservation and Stewardship Matt Decker will lead an informative walkthrough the Land Trust’s 60-acre Hunter Farm Preserve, providing participants with tips and advice along the way on how to steward the land so that wildlife can thrive.
This event is recommended for homeowners and property owners with more than two acres of land.
Hunter Farm Preserve is located at 65 Jared Court in Slate Hill.
A donation of $5 per person is suggested to benefit the mission of the land trust.
