MIDDLETOWN — Crystal Run Healthcare’s Chief Human Resources Officer, Mary DeFreitas, BBA, MPS, has been named acting chair of Orange County’s Workforce Development Board.
“I am extremely proud of the work that the Orange County Workforce Development Board and the Orange County Employment and Training staff accomplish together to ensure that we meet the workforce needs of those looking for employment opportunities, in addition to identifying employer needs throughout the Hudson Valley," said DeFreitas.
DeFreitas joined Crystal Run Healthcare in 2002. She was appointed to Crystal Run Healthcare’s chief human resources officer in 2009 and is still currently in that role where she provides leadership, management and support of Crystal Run’s various human resources needs. In addition to serving on the Orange County Workforce Development Board, DeFretias participates and serves on several advisory councils for educational/training institutions.
The Orange County Workforce Development Board facilitates a partnership approach to meeting the needs of area business, providing career opportunities for workers, and assuring meaningful education and employment experiences for youth. Its mission is to create effective strategic alliances that support the development of talent to meet the workforce needs of job seekers and regional businesses.
