Ice cream and apples: Dial-A-Bus will take you to them
Ice Cream Run Mondays
Dial-A-Bus will be making a trip to a different ice cream stand every Monday afternoon between 1 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. throughout the rest of the summer, running through September. The following stands will be visited:
Sept. 8 — Trailside Treats in Goshen
Sept. 15 — Stewarts Shop in Goshen
Sept. 22 — Dairy Delite in Florida
Sept. 29 — Friendly’s in Goshen
The normal fare schedule applies. Senior citizens and people with disabilities pay $2 each way; regular fare pays $4 each way.
Sept. 13 — Dial-A-Bus will be making a trip to Soons Orchard, with pick-up times from 10:45 to 11:15 a.m. Return time from Soons Orchards will be approximately 1:15 to 1:30 p.m. Some of the things you’ll find at Soons Orchards include apple cider, half and whole pies, preserves, fudge, goat cheese, vegetables, apple cider donuts, and, of course, many varieties of apples. (In another building, they make hard apple cider.) Fares are paid for by the Goshen Chamber of Commerce.
For reservations for any of these trips, call Michele at 294-8920.
