— The Neversink Valley Museum on June 28 will present an evening of Americana and bluegrass music featuring Hudson Valley favorites Annie and Mike Baglione, and friends banjoist Gene Mueller and guitarist Jane Keitel.

Gene Mueller, banjo player and recent addition to the band Breakneck Annie, promises to play some of his original pieces. Jane Keitel is the sister of Annie Baglione and together will perform their version of “The Smothers Sisters” — music combined with humor.

Mike Baglione is a founding member of the bluegrass bands Tin Roof, Oxford Depot, and the Jersey Mountain Boys. He has performed at clubs, coffee houses and on festival stages throughout the Northeast for the past 20 years. He has also performed live on radio stations WFDU, WJFF, WTBQ and WNYC.

Annie Baglione plays guitar, bass, concertina, and accordion. She performs throughout the Hudson Valley, both solo and as part of the band Breakneck Annie. She has coordinated the museum’s concert series for the past three years, and has been performing at least once every season since the inception of this series by the late musician and museum member, Miro Ludvik.

The Neversink Valley Area Museum is open Sunday from noon until 4 p.m. through Oct. 31 and by appointment. For more information about the museum, its mission to preserve local history or any events, call 754-8870 or check the website: www.neversinkmuseum.org.

The museum is at 26 Hoag Road in Cuddebackville.
