On Saturday, April 19th, 2014, the Goshen Car Wash and Oil Express, located at 289 West Main Street in Goshen, welcomed in the beginning of spring and the 2014 stock car racing season. On display was the 911 Memorial Tribute Race Car #343, sponsored by Superior Building & Remodeling. The car, which races at the Orange County Fair Speedway in Middletown, was retro-fitted to carry the names of the 343 fallen fire fighters who gave their lives on September 11, 2001. In addition to numerous give-a-ways, children were treated to a special visit by the Easter Bunny and three lucky customers were selected to win free tickets to the races. “The weather was beautiful and it turned out to be a great community event. I think it went well,” said manager Michael LeDuc.
