GOSHEN — Village of Goshen officials want your help honoring Earth Day?

How can you help? By pitching in to rid the streets of unwanted trash, twigs, and anything that’s marring the beauty of Goshen’s streets.

The cleanup date is Saturday, April 26. Volunteers are asked to meet in the CVS parking lot at 10 a.m. Clean up will take place until 2 p.m.

If you’re interested in helping, call village hall at 294-6750 and leave your name. Bring gardening gloves, and if you have them, simple tools, like a rake or hedge clippers. Garbage bags will be supplied.

“We’re going to have a fun day. Hopefully the weather will be great,” said Trustee Pete Smith, who added that all trustees will be on hand to do their share of the work.

Smith is looking for a big volunteer turn out to perk up as many streets in the village as possible in the one day clean up effort.
